Wowed By God's Timing

Wowed By God's Timing

What do you do when you're waiting on God? Have you ever been frustrated with God's timing? This past Sunday Pastor Josh gave a message on how to be WOWED by God's timing.

It's easy to question God & his timing, but in the midst of whatever you are facing we want you to remember this: Bottom Line: Trusting God today positions you to be wow’d by his timing

We saw this illustrated through the story of Zechariah & Elizabeth when an angel promised them a baby named John the Baptist. Here's how Zechariah responded: Zechariah said to the angel, “How can I be sure this will happen? I’m an old man now, and my wife is also well along in years.” Luke 1:18

Zechariah was old & instead of leaning in with wonder, he was skeptical. It's easy to be skeptical when your life doesn't line up with what you believed God promised.

On the other hand, here's how Elizabeth responded: “How kind the Lord is!” she exclaimed. “He has taken away my disgrace of having no children.” Luke 1:25 NLT

During this holiday season & whenever you begin to doubt God's timing, remind yourself to trust God & his timing.

How can we do this practically?

  1. Reflect
    • God has worked in your life. No matter where you are today, God has worked in your past. Remember that & reflect on how God has moved in your life.
  2. Share
    •  You need others who will help you when you feel discouraged. Share what's going on in your life.
  3. Give
    •  When you feel frustrated with your situation, it's time to help someone else's situation. Give your time, resources & love to others. Find ways to make an impact wherever you are.

Whatever you're facing today, remember to trust God & his timing.
